About Amy

Lake Forest is home for my family, and it is the place I care most about serving. It is where I am raising my son, staying involved, and doing my best to be part of the community, not just live in it.

As a mom, homeowner, and volunteer, I understand the everyday concerns families carry. I also bring more than 20 years of professional experience helping organizations solve problems, communicate clearly, and work through complex issues.

I believe people want leaders who listen, communicate honestly, and follow through. That is the kind of leadership I would bring to City Council.

Why I Am Running

I am running for City Council because I care deeply about what kind of city Lake Forest is today and what kind of city it will be in the years ahead. Local government shapes daily life in real ways, from public safety and road repairs to parks, traffic, local business, and long-term planning.

I believe residents deserve thoughtful, practical leadership that pays attention, communicates clearly, and stays focused on results. I want to help keep Lake Forest welcoming and ready for the future.

Rooted in the Community

My connection to Lake Forest goes beyond my address. It is reflected in how I show up and serve.

I completed the City’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program because I believe emergency preparedness matters. I have served as President of a local Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) because I care deeply about our schools and families. I also run a Little Free Library from my home, offering free books to neighbors and creating one more small place for community connection.

These experiences reflect the values I would bring to public service: being present, being useful, and investing in the kind of city we want to live in.

Let’s Do This Together

I am running to serve Lake Forest with care, common sense, and a real commitment to this community.

I want to hear what is working, what is not, and what you hope for this city. This campaign will be strongest when it reflects the people who call Lake Forest home.
